We are thrilled to share that TRI Medical was named the winner of the 2025 Showcase Pitch Competition and will receive $10,000 from IowaBio to support its mission! Founded by an orthopedic physical therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, TRI Medical has revolutionized spinal manual therapy education with its innovative product, the TRI Spine model.

The TRI Spine model is a patent-pending medical simulation device designed to enhance the diagnostic accuracy, manual skills, knowledge, and confidence of healthcare professional students in spinal treatment and diagnosis. It was born out of the founder’s passion for mentorship and commitment to improving spine specialists' training. The model is specifically tailored for Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) students.

By incorporating the TRI Spine model into educational programs, instructors can decrease workload and time commitment while mitigating potential legal risks associated with spinal treatment. TRI Medical is committed to continuing its innovation journey by developing advanced products that quantify and validate manual therapy techniques for orthopedic joint mobility.

In addition to TRI Medical’s success, we are excited to share that Hermes Biomaterials was also chosen by Ag Startup Engine to pitch their groundbreaking innovations to member companies.
