IowaBio has always been committed to fostering a vibrant talent pipeline in our state, and we understand that today’s students are the ones who will shape the future of biotechnology and other STEM fields. This is why supporting students in their pursuit of STEM education is a core purpose of IowaBio.

Through scholarships, programming, and other initiatives, we aim to enrich the STEM learning experience and build meaningful partnerships with schools, teachers, colleges, and universities across Iowa. Our goal is simple: to help create more STEM success stories here in Iowa, and to build strong connections between students and IowaBio’s member companies. These students are the future innovators, researchers, engineers, and leaders who will drive our biotechnology industry forward.

IowaBio is proud to recognize the exceptional achievements of several young individuals who have demonstrated outstanding innovation and excellence. The Future Biotech Leaders Scholarships, which were awarded at the State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa on March 27, were created with these students in mind. These scholarships are designed to support students as they continue their journey toward a college education. Each recipient will receive $2,000 if attending a university or college here in Iowa, and $1,000 for those enrolling in out-of-state institutions. This support will help ensure that they have the resources they need to thrive academically and professionally. We congratulate the following students:
