With summer in full swing, our office turns our attention to more than fun in the sun (this is your nudge to register for our baseball and golf events!). IowaBio will convene our first meeting for our Iowa Biotech Showcase and Conference Committee on July 24. 

Our Board Vice Chair Cody Kenkel of Agilent, will serve as the Committee Chair. This important group of members gives us leadership and guidance on our biggest event of the year—IBSC, slated for March 3-4, 2026 at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny. The Committee shapes content, sources speakers, and assists with getting the word out to colleagues and others who might want to participate in the event. This committee helps interview and select speakers to ensure the content is what our members are looking for from the conference. If you have been looking for a way to get more involved with IowaBio this Committee is a great way to do so!
