GW Nutrition Receives $10,000 as Iowa Biotech Showcase Award Recipient
For the first time in Iowa Biotech Showcase Pitch Competition history, a panel of five judges awarded not one, but two startup companies as this year's biotech showcase winners.
Congratulations to GW Nutrition President Anita Noriam and R&D Director Laura Wonderling for receiving this year's first place Iowa Biotech Showcase Award presented by Corteva. Anita and Laura's presentation earned their company $10,000 to further advance CleanSenseTM Technology, and a one-year IowaBio membership.
Additional congratulations to Upcycling+ President and Co-Founder Xun Wu for earning his company second place at this year's Iowa Biotech Showcase Pitch Competition. Xun's company received a $2,500 award to continue the development of its plastic waste recovery technology.
