The first session of the 90th General Assembly adjourned Sine Die on May 4, 2023 -- 6 days past the 110th scheduled day, as legislators took extra time to hammer out remaining budget differences and come to a compromise on differing property tax reform ideas. 

The session, which was driven by a Republican trifecta in the Senate, House and Governor’s office, along with a slew of brand new legislators due to redistricting, included hallmark legislation on Education Reform, State Government Reorganization, and Property Tax Reform.
